About Land of Cotton Antique Mall

Land of Cotton Antique Mall and Marketplace has been owned and operated by Henry and Ashley Higham since July 1, 2001.  In May of 2008, Land of Cotton Antique Mall added Orbie and Pat DeVane as partners.  The 20,000 sq. ft., climate controlled mall provides quality retail space for 40 – 50 antique dealers.  We pride ourselves in that we have attracted what we consider to be the best dealers in our area.    Our mall is open 7 days a week and only closes Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, & Christmas.  Our normal business hours are Monday-Saturday, 10:00 - 6:00 and Sunday, 12:00 - 5:00.

Our mall specializes in good old American antiques.  Like the song says, “Old times here are not forgotten!”  We have lots of depression glass, elegant glass, pottery, primitives, costume jewelry, bottles, advertising items, coins, silver, knives, 50s and 60s kitchenware, artwork, furniture, and many other odds and uniques.   There is something for everyone.  Many of our customers say “You can spend the day and still not see it all!” We have a great group of dealers that bring in the good old stuff daily. 


Land of Cotton Antique Mall and Marketplace primarily serves the southeastern United States market area.  We are located in the south side K-mart shopping center on the corner of Hwy. 231 South and Ross Clark Circle.  Because of our location in the tri-state area of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida we consider our “local traffic” to encompass Dothan, Birmingham, Atlanta, Tallahassee, Panama City, Destin, and Pensacola.  Being located on a major north/south highway, as well as being within 18 miles of the east/west traffic on Interstate I-10, we get travelers from just about everywhere.  On any given day we may have customers in from Alaska, California, Texas, and Maine!  If we’ve heard it once, we’ve heard it a dozen times… “In all our travels, this is one of the best malls we have ever found.”  Please come see for yourself.
